Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a 5,000 year old Ancient healing art. The ancient Chinese believed that there is a
universal life energy called Chi or Qi present in every living creature. This energy is said to
circulate throughout the body along specific pathways that are called meridians. As long as this
energy flows freely throughout the meridians, health is maintained, but once the flow of energy
is blocked, the system is disrupted and pain and illness occurs.  Acupuncture has been proven
effective for many different conditions. Studies have proven Acupuncture works.
Does Acupuncture Hurt? Well that depends on how it is done. Many individuals have a fear of
needles and will not have acupuncture, because of this. However, Acupuncture can be
performed without needles. Acupuncture with AcuAids is a new and viable alternative.
Acupuncture with AcuAids therapy operates on the principles of acupuncture, in that AcuAids
can stimulate acupuncture points as effectively, if not even more so, than needles. AcuAids use
small magnetic patches, rather than needles to stimulate Acupuncture points. The patches are
placed on your skin at Acupuncture points. It’s like Band Aids with Power.
How Does Acupuncture Work? Acupuncture focuses on balancing the Chi or Qi energy as it
flows through the meridians. The meridians are energy pathways that course throughout the
body. Acupuncture with AcuAids work re-program and restore normal function by stimulating
certain Acupuncture points on the meridians in order to free up the Chi or Qi energy.
Acupuncture with AcuAids is known to reduce pain, increase circulation, promote the release of
endorphins and enable the body to heal quicker.
How Long Do Acupuncture Treatments Take? Acupuncture typically takes around 40 minutes.
That means that you will have multiple sessions of 40 minutes each. The average person will
need 12 sessions to determine if Acupuncture can help. Acupuncture with AcuAids provides
effective stimulation to acupuncture points. The Advantage of AcuAids is that it can be done at
home at night while you sleep. It can be done for hours, and in many circumstances for several
days straight, providing even more stimulation over longer periods of time. This results in an
even better outcome, than seen with needles.
How Much Does Acupuncture Cost? Acupuncture typically costs $120.00 per visit. With the
average patient receiving 10 or more visits, the average cost for a program of Acupuncture is
around $1,200.00. Acupuncture with AcuAids is much less expensive than even onevisit to the
Acupuncturist. Thus you can experience all of the benefits of Acupuncture without the expense.

How to Dress For an Acupuncture Treatment? Most typically you will have to disrobe and put
on a gown. Sort of like when you go to the hospital. Some individuals are uncomfortable
disrobing. The advantage of Acupuncture with AcuAids is that you perform the treatment in the
privacy of your own home. You can take them with you when you travel. Acupuncture with
AcuAids is portable, private and convenient. Acupuncture is an ancient method of healing which
directs the flow of energy or (Qi) in the body to maintain or regain health and balance. There are
many different instruments used to stimulate Acupuncture points, and now there’s AcuAids.

Acupuncture Meridians ARE REAL! See?

Many people have heard of acupuncture. However, many people are skeptical of one a
structure called meridians. Meridians are invisible pathways that flow through the body. No
one has been able to really prove that these meridians actually exist, until today!

A group of Korean Scientist has discovered a way to get pictures of these meridians.

Here is how they do it.

“Korean researchers found a way to reveal the anatomy of these meridians and to visualize
them in this breakthrough study. They used fluorescent magnetic nanoparticles to detect a
tissue which was not detectable using stereomicroscopes.”

Several studies have shown the great success of acupuncture. However, none of them have
been able to show or give proof of these meridians.  With this new research doctors may now
be able to further explore the effect acupuncture has on the meridians.
